Sound Changes for the Environment

A showcase of data sonification and through the generative nature of the visuals and audio, I hope to convey the message of the rapidly growing temperature of the global climate. Learning a powerful engine to make my work come to life was a challenge. The program required extensive knowledge of Python in which, through some trial and error, I was able to slowly build my knowledge in what was required of the project. After completing my project in TouchDesigner, I was thrilled with the results. The process allowed me to blend creativity and technology seamlessly, bringing my vision to life through real-time visuals. I experimented with various operators and created dynamic interactivity that captivated my audience. Overall, the experience was rewarding, and I gained valuable insights into the powerful capabilities of TouchDesigner. By generatively creating audio within the program, I was excited to learn more about what this program has to offer.
